"Thumper"
D & D Decks & Docks marine pile driver simplifies construction techniques through innovation.  "Thumper" is a 10' X 25' all steel marine pile driver barge with hydraulic operated steel spuds and a 32' tall derrick with a hydraulic hammer that can drive 14" pilings up to 40' in length.  Numerous pilings can be driven in line for stringers with one movement.  The derrick and hammer are designed to travel 10' from front to center.  This enables us to drive outside pilings on one side of the deck and without moving the barge, slide the derrick back and drive the second piling.  The stringers can then be bolted on before moving the barge.
